Inauguration de l’oeuvre de Marin Kasimir
L’information suivante concerne l’inauguration au Parc Fontainas ce mercredi 6 mai à 11 h. d’une nouvelle oeuvre de Marin Kasimir (habitant de la rue Locquenghien).
Films Jean-Noël à/in Flagey + Expo
Deux films de Jean-Noël Gobron (habitant de la rue Locquenghien) seront à l’affiche du cinema Flagey en avril 2009. Il s’agit du long métrage “Potrait de ma mère poète” et du court métrage “Portrait de mon père aquarelliste”. Jeudi 2 avril, les films seront présentés en présence de l’équipe au Studio 5 de Flagey. Ensuite les films seront à l’affiche du mercredi 8 avril au jeudi 30 avril 2009.
Parallèlement aux projections à Flagey une exposition des oeuvres des artistes-parents, portraiturés dans les films, se tiendra du 1 au 30 avril à la Christine Decuyper Art Gallery. La galerie d’art, située rue de la Madeleine 43 à 1000 Bxl (dans le centre-ville près de la gare centrale) est ouverte tous les jours (inclus samedis et dimanches). Qu’on se le dise!

Twee films van Jean-Noël Gobron (bewoner van de Locquenghienstraat) zullen in april 2009 in de filmzaal Flagey worden vertoond. Het gaat over de 60 minuten durende film “Portret van mijn moeder dichteres” (O.V. met Nederl. ondertitels) en de kortfilm “Portret van mijn vader aquarellist”. Donderdag 2 april zullen de films, in aanwzeigheid van de filmploeg, worden vertoond in de studio 5 van Flagey. Daarna blijven de films in Flagey van woensdag 8 april tot donderdag 30 april 2009.
Van 1 tot en met 30 april gaat ook een tentoonstelling door van de werken van de kunstenaars-ouders, geportretteerd in de films. Deze tentoonstelling is elke dag te zien in de Christine Decuyper Art Gallery, Magdalenasteenweg, 43 te 1000 Brussel (centrum-stad dichtbij het Centraal Station). Zeg het voort!

Evaluatie straatfeest inde Locquenghienstraat:
Over het algemeen zijn de meningen positief, enkel het weer (koud!) en de samenwerking met de diensten van de stad Brussel werden als negatief ervaren.
De verschillende animaties en concerten zijn goed onthaald geweest, maar we stellen vast dat alles natuurlijk altijd beter kan:
-organisatie van het feest vroeger op het jaar en zo meer kans op goed/warmer weer (laatste zaterdag van mei??) en vroeger op voorhand beginnen met de voorbereidingen. (begin januari?) Zo ook meer de kans geven aan de bewoners om zich meer te engageren voor hun feest.
-het feest niet meer samen met andere activiteiten van de stad (Nuit Blanche) organiseren en zo onafhankelijkheid bewaren en geen onverwachte verrassingen…
-creatie van een krantje? Alleszins de site meer gebruiken
-voorstel om de bewoners nauwer te betrekken bij “Chant des Rues” gedurende het hele jaar door i.s.m. het huis St.-André?
-Een goed partenariat ondanks het tekort aan vrijwilligers waardoor sommige problemen zijn gerezen, toch leuke voorbereiding, maar we willen nog meer engagement van de bewoners (het is en blijft een straatfeest: voor en door de straat…)
-De brocante/rommelmarkt: moet amateuristisch blijven, misschien wel meer stands (dus meer bewoners die brocante houden.
-De verkoop van snacks (door professionele uitbater) onder strakkere norm plaatsen (100% participatie in eten voor artiesten)
-Bravo Véronique voor de voorbereidende ateliers met de kinderen en voor Robert en Abdel voor de panelen!!
-Budget: Het blijft nog even wachten op de beloofde 600 euros(VGC? Thomas Holvoet, Comité?), Bravvo investeerde wat ze belooft had, jammer dat niet iedereen zich aan de beperktheid ervan heeft gehouden…
-Voor de site : alle foto’s zijn meer dan welkom, ook teksten en adressen van iedereen die op de hoogte wil gehouden worden voor de komende activiteiten.

Fête de rue Locquenghien
Évaluation.
29 octobre 2008.
Présents : Jean-Noël Gobron, Youssef Ennay, Bechalloumi Abdel, El Gazoumi, Serge Noël, Sylvie Fossé, Thomas Vanleirsberghe.

Dans l’ensemble, les avis sont très positifs sur le déroulement de la fête. Seuls le temps et un manque de coopération des services de la Ville ont assombri le bilan.
Les animations, concerts et projections ont été très bien accueillis. Mais on remarque qu’il conviendrait :
-de faire la fête plus tôt dans l’année (dernier samedi de mai), et de s’y prendre dès janvier dans la préparation et l’implication de plus d’habitants.
-de ne plus noyer la fête de rue dans un événement plus ample de la Ville.
-de créer un petit journal de rue et de mieux utiliser le site internet.
-de proposer aux habitants d’investir le Chant des Rues le reste du temps (ateliers, lieux de rencontres, etc…), en partenariat avec St André.
Le partenariat a bien fonctionné, même si l’on déplore le manque de bénévoles qui semble être un problème incontournable dans l’état actuel des choses. Non seulement dans la préparation de la fête et sa gestion mais aussi dans la décoration de la rue.
Il est souhaité de maintenir une brocante amateure de rue ce qui ce qui correspond mieux à l’esprit de la fête de rue. D’autre part, il et décidé de demander au concessionnaire snack de prendre en charge 100% de la participation artistique ou de lui faire payer un emplacement.
Bravo à Véronique de BRAVVO pour ses ateliers de préparation avec les enfants. Une mention spéciale pour les panneaux littéraires accrochés en rue grâce à Abdel et Robert.
Budget.
On est en dépassement budgétaire de 450 euros, ce qui s’explique que des habitants viennent à la dernière minute proposer une animation qu’il est délicat de refuser. Quid du reliquat des 600 euros annoncés par l’ancienne coordination de la fête de la rue ? Cet argent nous permettrait d’être en équilibre. Thomas va se renseigner. Cet argent se trouverait sur un compte commun des habitants ouvert et géré pat Thomas Holvoet.
En ce qui concerne le site, il est important de le nourrir avec des photos et des textes, et de signaler son adresse sur tous les toutes boîtes à venir.

Since a few months you must have passed a new place on the corner of the Ophemstreet and our street (number 12). It’s the the center INTERÔLE asbl Centre d’Expression et de Créativité “LE CHANT DES RUES“. I had a short chat this afternoon with Youssef, who is working there, about the Streetparty. As you know it was Thomas who did most of the work to relaunch the Streetparty last year, but since Thomas moved to Amsterdam he won’t able to do it this year. Well here is the good news: Youssef and the people from “Le Chant des rues” plan to pertpetuate the organisation of the Locquenghien Streetparty. If all works out this means we might have a streetparty again this year. If you like the idea and want to participate one way or another don’t hesitate to pay them a visit or call them (02/217 75 12) or mail them (ennay.youssef@live.be). May the Party be with you! maybe you have see the ‘red’ posters in our street …
Thomas H of N°49-51 is planning to do quite some renovation works on the house and therefore is a a public inquiry.
You can go and have a look at the plans at the administrative city center.
I did go and check them, and they are quite interesting. On the street side, the facade will stay in the same shape, but with in better condition.
it is mainly the back side that will become different, with a garden and a loft in the ‘entrepot’.
Can’t wait to see it happen (although we will notice some dust and noise of the works, i suppose … but it is for the best!)
More about the new house to be build
Here is some more information concerning the new house to be build in our street, nr 32-36, by Michaël Delobelle. The photos were taken from the maquette. Of course this is a project, which is prior to be modified.
There will be 6 appartments as well as the office of Michaël Delobelle’s real estate agency. Each appartment will have a different size, with different quantity of rooms, and each appartment will have a balcony (on the south). They hope being able to start building by end 2008…
